Living with Faith in the New Year
Today Pastor Kelvin and JoAnne helped us keep perspective for the New Year. Rather than focus on the problems, we can begin with who God is. “With God all things are possible!” Jesus said (Matt. 19:26). Then we expect God to be at work, first in transforming us, and then in the circumstances around us.
Time to renew daily Bible reading practices
The beginning of a New Year is a great time to make or renew a habit of daily Bible reading and prayer. Whether you call it, Time Alone with God, Daily Devotions, Quiet Time, or something else, this habit is an essential part of maintaining our relationship with our Heavenly Father and keeping our spiritual perspective sharp.
