Encouragement for tough times
Today Pastor Kelvin and JoAnne helped us remember that God is constantly bringing hope to his people. The resurrection of Jesus inspires us to look for God’s continuing actions. The continuing presence and the promises of Jesus assure us that even in times of trial, we can find silver linings. When we allow these perspectives to rule our thinking, we receive spiritual stamina and can endure difficult passages in our lives.
Communion next week
Pastor Kelvin announced today that he will be including online communion in the service next Sunday. So listeners are invited to have elements ready so they can participate. God is not hindered in his workings by distance. He can use the pastor’s online blessing to bless the elements in your home. And you can prepare your heart and partake with reverence remembering the death of Jesus and looking forward to his second coming, just like you would at church.
