Power Pak Moment by Karen gets everyone laughing and makes the point well
Today Pastor Kelvin’s message focused on living with the dual purpose that God has given us, sharing the Good News and showing God’s love. During the Power Pak time for younger viewers, Karen Ahijevych talked about how the special days in February can help us to put into practice the admonition of Scripture, “Do everything in love” (1 Cor. 16:14). This might be especially true on Feb. 16 which is national “Do a Grouch a Favor Day.” Who knew! Pastor Kelvin shares insights from Rick Warren’s best seller, “The Purpose Driven Life” and concludes with a great story from the “The Church of Irresistible Influence” by Robert Lewis.
Online Communion included
Today’s service included online communion. Pastor Kelvin is happy to provide this opportunity for those who cannot come together in person to be able to remember Jesus in the way he taught us to do. The work of God’s Spirit is not bound by distance. God reads our hearts as we look up to him for spiritual food even as we partake of ordinary bread and grape juice.
