Baptism and confirmations in Copper Hill’s founding family
Mother’s Day was a great celebration. In addition to honoring the mothers, Pastor Kelvin had the privilege of baptizing Luke Andrew Oliver, second son of Mark and Sarah Oliver. Then the congregation welcomed new confirmands Anna Griffin and Connor Mandirola. The morning message was a little different. Pastor Kelvin and JoAnne shared how their mothers inspired them in the faith journey, giving examples and ideas that might be useful for parents and mentors today.
More confirmations anticipated
On May 23, we are looking forward to welcoming three more confirmands into our church. Ella Robison and Morgan and Malia Gabbidon will be confirmed that Sunday. In addition, the junior teen girls Zoom group has prepared a video presentation on the subject of Pentecost which will be featured.
