Copper Hill Celebrates 4th of July
The atmosphere was festive as folks wore their red, white and blue and the congregation sang “America.” JoAnne’s Power Pak moment shared how the nation’s first President, George Washington, had been a man of devoted prayer. Pastor Kelvin’s message was the third in a mini series he has been doing that explore the Bible images of times of trouble. Today he spoke about the plague of locusts that is described in Joel. It served as a reminder to us that when difficult times come and go, we should be reminded to seek God in prayer, confessing our shortcomings and turning our hearts back to God.
