Lighting the flame of Pentecost in our hearts
In this message, Pastor Kelvin continued the summer sermon series based on the six understandings given by Bishop Bickerton in his 2021 Episcopal address. Pastor Jones emphasized how essential it is that we give hospitality in our hearts to the Spirit of Jesus. God reaches out to us with his grace, but unless we respond by deciding to follow Jesus ourselves, the flame of God’s presence will not be lit in our lives. But if we do respond, Jesus promised, “The one who believes has eternal life!” (John 6:47).
