God is a “God of Hope”
Hopelessness in an epidemic in our society. But God wants us to to be hopeful. If we are discouraged by rapid changes around us, it encourages us to remember that God does not change. Jesus always had a positive and hope-producing outlook too. He said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12). His resurrection always reminds us that God can intervene in our circumstances to help us through. The Holy Spirit helps us as we pray too. That means all the persons of the Trinity are actively at work to bring us hope!
Outdoor Coffee Hour a success
Since this was our annual “Back to Church” Sunday, we celebrated with an outdoor Coffee hour. We enjoyed the baked goods, cotton candy grapes, and a chance to chat in the sunshine.
