“Hope is Here” series continues.
At Copper Hill Church, we continued to be inspired to “Put our hope in God.” As people, we like to know the results of what we are thinking about doing. This Sunday Pastor Kelvin talked about three practical effects in our daily lives when we hope in God. For one, the hopefulness that God inspires also helps us to be joyful. Hopelessness precludes joy. When we believe that God is at work behind the scenes, we are able to be patient in tough times. We persevere looking for something better. And when we put our hope in God, we will be prayerful as well, asking God to help us through. So having a positive expectation that “God is for us” (Rom. 8:31) as the Bible says, makes a big difference in the tone of our daily lives.
