New series called Heaven’s Joys begins
About twenty-five years ago a good friend invited me to attend a Syracuse football game with him at the Dome and watch Donavan McNabb during his freshman year at Syracuse. He had great seats and I really appreciated that invitation. But the most coveted invitation any of us can receive is the invitation to the heavenly banquet that is described in Rev. 19: 7-9. This week Pastor Kelvin explains that our invitation to be a disciple of Jesus is also our invitation to that great event. For when we open our hearts and believe in Jesus, then our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20); and those who are at that great banquet are those whose names are written in heaven.
